Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Gorakhpur to Pokhara via Sonauli Border
  • Receive an early morning pickup from Gorakhpur and drive to the Sonauli Border (approx. 3 hours) to complete customs and vehicle entry permit (Bhansar) formalities.
  • Download offline maps before crossing, as Airtel network signals can frequently drop or face heavy interruptions across the border.
  • Commence the uphill drive through the scenic Siddhartha Highway, passing through beautiful valleys and waterfalls.
  • Take well-timed rest breaks to ensure you can strach, relax and be comfortable during the ascent.
  • Arrive in Pokhara, check into your lakeside hotel, and spend a relaxing evening walking around the vibrant Phewa Lake market.
Day 2: Pokhara to Jomsom (The Mountain Valley Journey)
  • Enjoy an early breakfast, check out of the hotel, and gear up for an adventurous mountain drive.
  • Drive from Pokhara to Jomsom (approx. 7–8 hours) via Beni in your high-clearance SUV, tracking alongside the rushing waters of the Kali Gandaki River.
  • Experience thrilling off-road terrain flanked by towering views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges.
  • Arrive in Jomsom, the gateway to Muktinath, by late afternoon. Check into your local mountain lodge and rest to acclimatize to the higher alpine altitude.
Day 3: Jomsom to Muktinath Darshan & Return to Pokhara
  • Fuel up early with a clean breakfast of oats and curd, or mix a quick plant-based protein powder shake for sustained mountain energy before heading out.
  • Take an early morning drive from Jomsom to Ranipauwa near the sacred Muktinath Temple complex.
  • Hire a local pony to reach the main temple site (3,710 meters) to ensure a highly comfortable and safe ascent for your toddler.
  • Perform ritual purifications under the 108 holy water spouts (Muktidhara) and seek blessings at the Lord Vishnu Temple.
  • Head back to Jomsom for breakfast, pack your bags, and begin the scenic drive all the way back down to Pokhara for the night.
Day 4: Pokhara Sightseeing & Drive to Kathmandu via Manakamana
  • Wake up early for a drive to Sarangkot to catch a mesmerizing sunrise over the snow-clad Himalayas.
  • Return to the hotel for breakfast, followed by quick local sightseeing at David’s Falls and Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave.
  • Check out and hit the Prithvi Highway toward Kathmandu. Break your journey at Kurintar to ride the exciting cable car crossing over the Trishuli River.
  • Visit the hilltop Manakamana Devi Temple, widely worshiped as the fulfiller of wishes.
  • Return to your vehicle and drive the remaining mountain highway to Kathmandu, checking into your hotel by evening.
Day 5: Kathmandu Sacred Heritage Tour
  • Visit the iconic Pashupatinath Temple on the banks of the Bagmati River for morning prayers and darshan.
  • Drive to the Budhanilkantha Temple to witness the ancient, large stone deity of Lord Vishnu reclining on a bed of cosmic serpents.
