Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Gorakhpur to Lumbini Sightseeing & Drive to Chitwan
- Receive an early morning pickup from Gorakhpur and drive to the Sonauli Border (approx. 3 hours) to complete customs and vehicle permit formalities.
- Download offline maps before crossing, as Airtel network signals can frequently drop or face heavy interruptions near the border and wildlife reserves.
- Cross into Nepal and proceed directly to Lumbini, the sacred birthplace of Lord Buddha. Explore the holy Maya Devi Temple, the Ashoka Pillar, and the Sacred Garden.
- After lunch, embark on a scenic drive to Chitwan National Park, taking leisurely stretch breaks along the route so you stays comfortable.
- Check into your resort in Chitwan, enjoy a relaxing evening by the Rapti River, and stay overnight.
Day 2: Full Day Wildlife Activities in Chitwan National Park
